Find Your Favorite Flavor for Culinary Education

One of the exciting things about culinary arts is the variety of styles and tastes in the field. From around the world comes a cultural culinary cornucopia. A number of schools cater to those looking for specific food preparation styles. Five of the most popular food preparation choices are: French, Italian, Thai, Vegetarian, and Vegan. Here are schools that cater to those tastes.

French Culinary Schools

French cuisine sets the standard for much of western cooking. In the French tradition, a well-prepared meal must meet three criteria: appearance, quality, and flavor. Food first pleases the eye; then the palate. Creating such a meal is an art form. Although most culinary schools in America have a base of French tradition, a few specialize in French cooking. The following schools offer specific instruction in French cuisine.
